Filmophone (GB)
The quest for unbreakable records like Duophone continued with Filmophone. The problem is they went too far, they were too flexible! They certainly could be rolled up into a tube. Trouble is, they tend to do it of their own accord, making many completely unplayable. Those that are flat do play very well. Many were original recordings by some excellent British musicians. American masters were provided by QRS and Banner (the latter mainly dubbed). Quelle
